The Must Have/ Writer’s Strike Diet… is a diet for the naturally laconic person who doesn’t want to give up a damn thing for weight loss, but nevertheless needs to shake some pounds. The theory is you deprive yourself of nothing, but add things that are healthy (like water and vitamins) and a couple affirmations (like I am thin) and the healthy things will start a slow and significant influence over the body and one’s perfect weight will ultimately emerge. (By the end of the strike and in time for a high school reunion).
